Catching Fire (By Suzanne Collins)

CATCHING FIRE By: Suzanne Collins

My third reading book is Catching Fire, written by Suzanne Collins. In this book, it is the 75th hunger games, which means that it is the third quarter quell.  Every quarter quell, there is always something else. It could be twice as many people, past victors can be called, etc. This is a very exciting year for Katniss and Peeta, will they keep rebelling against the capitol, will they be sent to prison, and even worse, will they be sent back into the Hunger Games? This year is a brand new start for Katniss, Peeta, Haymitch, District 12 and even the Capitol. In the previous book, people (even me) thought that Katniss was going through a lot with the Hunger Games, but this year was even worse. Just imagine what she suffered, and then multiply that by like 1,000,000.
I thought that this was one of the best books I have ever read, and it was by far the best book in the series. From the first moment you read it, to the last word in the book, you are always on the edge of your chair waiting to see what happens next. This book was very well written, I felt really sorry for Katniss, and for all that she has been through. The only thing that I would change is that possibly let Katniss have an easier life, cause everyone probably felt the same way, that she had the worst life ever. Other then that, this book was amazing, well written, and very descriptive! Everyone who reads this was most likely bored at the beginning, but near the actually Hunger Games started, everyone was very anxious to see what the Capitol has in store for Panem.

  3. I agree with the above, it's a really nice layout but the text is a bit hard to read. I hope you write a review for the last book and possibly compare the three. I'm sure you'll love the last book as much as the second.

  6. Garret,
Great review you went into deep detail about the story but made it somehow short and sweet. you clearly voiced your opinion and et people know that you liked the book and you gave reasons, you also were not afraid of voicing parts you did not like. try to stay away from using like such as saying times it by like 1000 because that is improper.

    Best of luck,
